It's 2:20 AM, the vinyl stopped playing long ago and I have been reading the Himalayan Club Journals for some time now... These journals are crammed with tiny tales of bold mountaineers, their roving adventures and scientific explorations over a century! As I got lost in the snow-capped peaks, hidden mountain valleys and stories of the local communities, I wished someone would tell me these forgotten stories as mountain folklore.

I scraped the internet but couldn't find what I was looking for, so I ended up creating this Podcast—"The Himalayan Journals"—as my personal time machine—a way to connect with the grandfather I never met through the adventures he might have dreamt of. Picture this: an old traveller, wise with age, his eyes twinkling with mischief, recounting his wild escapades to an eager young boy, hanging on his every word.
